When and where is the New Jersey Reptile Show?

The first annual New Jersey Reptile Show is on Sunday, October 5, 2025 from 9:00 AM–4:00 PM at VFW Post 2179, 1 Veterans Ln, Port Monmouth, NJ 07758.

How much are tickets and when do they go on sale?

General Admission is $20 per person and valid all day (9AM–4PM). Toddlers in strollers are free. Tickets go on sale August 25, 2025 at https://www.njreptileshow.com/tickets.

Will tickets be available at the door?

Accepted Answer

If the event does not sell out online, a limited number of tickets may be available at the door. Capacity is capped at 1,000 attendees, so we recommend purchasing online early.

Is parking available at the venue?

Yes. Free on-site parking is included at VFW Post 2179 for all attendees.

Is the show family-friendly? Can I bring my kids?

Absolutely! The event is designed to be fun, safe, and educational for all ages. Toddlers in strollers enter free; all other children require a general admission ticket.

What kinds of animals and products will be at the show?

Accepted Answer

Expect captive-bred geckos (Leopard, Crested, Gargoyle, Tokay), snakes (Ball Pythons, Corn, Milk, King, Boas), lizards (Bearded Dragons, Uromastyx, Monitors, Skinks, Chameleons, Iguanas), amphibians (Pacman, Tree, Dart frogs; legal salamander species), and invertebrates (tarantulas, scorpions, roaches, millipedes, isopods). Plus feeders (live/frozen), enclosures, heating/lighting, terrarium supplies, and reptile merchandise. Note: No turtles, no axolotls, and no venomous reptiles are permitted in NJ.

Can I bring my own pet to the show?

For safety and compliance, outside animals are not permitted. Only approved vendors may bring animals into the venue.

Will food and drinks be available?

Yes. The VFW will operate a snack bar with food and beverages during show hours.

How do vendors apply for a table?

Accepted Answer

Vendors can apply through the Become a Vendor page on our website. Space is limited and tables sell out quickly.

Who organizes the New Jersey Reptile Show?

Accepted Answer

The show is organized by New Jersey Reptile Show LLC, the sister event of the Saratoga Reptile Show team, which has hosted multiple sold-out expos since 2022.
